BOO!!! I want to kick you for the ending!!!
But, let me talk about the academy. I cannot believe Lucin pulled a gun on her. I just cannot. It broke my heart again. You broke my heart in this book too many times. But I think this was the ultimate heartbreak for her. At least in this book. I don't think the confusion and pain will ever erase from her mind, even if she were to believe that the man that helped raise her would try to kill her for information that her father found out. I liked that she kicked Saunders, or kneed him. But I was confused. He really wanted her to succeed. Saunders that is. But, Lucin killed her dreams for success.
The epilogue. I loved it, the star names, the “flower”. I was all very surreal. She seemed so happy, after all the events that had taken place in the last month she was happy. Back to the star names that Cole found. I am pleased her parents picked names that only Molly would understand. That only Mollie would remember. The last line. The very last line that I want to kick you for, I had to hide with my hand, because it was in all CAPS and my eyes wanted to jump to the bottom of the page to read it. I am so happy I did. Or else all the suspense that had been building up would have been moot. I got the chills. Really, I did. And I want to kick you because the ending….was not something I expected. Not at all. And probably something that Mollie did not expect either. And now I have to wait for the next one. This series (can I call it a series?) is going to be phenomenal.
