I’ve been waiting avidly for the new book and was thrilled when I saw it was out (in the US at least). I asked Amazon UK why ‘Third Shift’ was not available on the UK Kindle store yet and they said:
“I can understand that you wish to purchase Kindle content “Third Shift – Pact”.
Unfortunately the book “Third Shift – Pact” you are interested in is not currently available for Kindle. I will pass on your feedback in regard to this to the publisher. Your direct feedback to the publisher will also be helpful so that they are aware that you are interested in reading this title on the Kindle.
The book you’re interested in isn’t currently on the Amazon.co.uk website. Please contact the publisher directly and ask that they make their content available on Kindle.
We will continue to work with publishers directly and ask that they make their content available on Kindle.”
Seems like they don’t have much of a clue. Can you let us know when it’s likely to be available in the UK store?

It is only a matter of time until his latest book ‘Third Shift – Pact’ is on the UK site (like all his other books). I just want to know when it will be available as it is already on the US site and I’m desperate to read it. Can you please find this out for me rather than just sending me a stock answer?”
It has to do with Random House UK, not Amazon. They are shooting for mid-February with the e-book of Third Shift. Sorry about the delay. But hey, you all got the bookstore release first!

So not only are they incapable of finding out when it will be available they can’t speak English either.
Any idea when Third Shift will be available on Kindle in Australia? I came late to Wool and then read the whole lot within a month or so… I finished Second Shift a few weeks ago and am hanging out for the next one!
Any idea about a New Zealand Kindle date on Third Shift. I only found you a week ago and have already caught up. Is it worth ordering an actual book on amazon or will the electronic addition be out by the time it gets here. Thanks so much for your work. I can’t remember the last time I have gotten so addicted to a book series. Cheers
I devoured wool 1-6 and shift 1-2, so I was immensly happy that iTunes had the UK publication date at the 28th February and the book available for Pre-order, It’s now the 7th March How long does it take? I want to spend my money, I need to read this book. Question is; could I read them all again before the actual release of Shift 3? I need to assuage my addiction.
For some reason I hadn’t checked your site in a few months because the last time I checked Second Shift was only about 60% finished. I’m glad I checked to see if it was finished and found out that it was and so was the next one in the series.
The only bad thing is that I have a 30 page paper due in a few weeks and law school exams right after. Studying will have to wait. I loved the Wool series and I’m looking forward to finishing the Shift series soon.
Can’t wait to read Third Shift. Any time frame for it available for Nooks?
